1. Small Scale Renewable Energy Scheme

Under this scheme, the State-Federal Government offers Small Scale Technology Certificates (STCs) based on the expected power generation between 2021 to 2030.

As of now, if you install a 6.6kW system in Adelaide, you can get 90 STCs. Although the price of STC’s may vary, it’s average is $35.00 So you can claim a rebate of up to $3150.00 on a 6.6kW system.

2. Home Battery Scheme

A 6.6kWh solar system will produce around 9,000kWh annually. If you utilize just 6,000 kWh & the rest, 3,000 kWh goes to the electricity provider.

In this case, your system will generate a FIT of around $300 every year. Of course, if you have a battery, you can keep the electricity and use it in your home.
